昼間、家にいる時には仕事してても、家事しててもMTV Musicつけっ放しです。
ここ数ヶ月よく耳につく曲がいくつかあって、
今回は、Charlie Puth と Selena Gomez（チャーリー・プースとセレーナ・ゴメス） の We Don't Talk Anymoreについて。
初めて、この歌をTVで聞いた時に、すごく耳に残ってその日は頭の中のテーマソングの様に何度も何度も We don't talk anymore! We don't talk anymore! We don't talk anymore! Like we used to do... が流れます(笑)
チャーリーとセレーナの声がとてもマッチングしていて、切ない気持ちになります。
ちょっと調べてみたら、この曲は、日本滞在中に書いた歌詞だそうです。
そしてフィリピンで曲を作り、ロスでレコーディングしたそうです。
破局と復縁を繰り返したセレーナなら楽曲や歌詞に共感してくれるだろうと思い彼女に話したら、その場で２番を歌いだし、OKをもらったそうです。
それと、MVに出ているチャーリーの相手役の女優さんですが、本来はセレーナがやるはずだったそうです、でもどうしてもスケジュールが合わない為、女優さんが出演となったそうです。残念！
